The club was founded in 1890 and with over 100 years of History 'The Vics' are part of the heritage of the village of Blantyre
The Vics have a proud history of famous past players including Jock Stein CBE, Billy McNeil MBE and Joe Jordan joint youngest player to score for the Vics at the age of 16 years against Blantyre Celtic in 1967.
The Vics play their home games at Castle Park, Forrest Street, Blantyre, G72 OJL
For season 2009 - 2010 we will be running 5 teams from Castle Park,
The 1st team ( Juniors ) will be playing in the Stagecoach Central League 1st Division. Saturday
The under 21s will be in the 1st Division of the West Of Scotland League .Saturday.
The Under 19s will play in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth District Youth league on a Sunday.
The Under 17s in the Glasgow and District Youth Football League on a Sunday.
The under 14s in the Glasgow and District Youth Football League on a Sunday.
How qualified/capable is your football team's registered first aider?
Qualified and fully capable
Has done some basic training but is hardly qualified. It's just to meet regulations really.
