Not the best performance today after the game was moved to a grass park instead of the expected astro-grass pitch. Despite this it was another three points in the bag.
The first half saw us take the game to Garthamloch with only token response from the opposition and we took a 3 goal lead at half time with goals from Lewis McLear, Declan McGill and Michael Devine.
The second half should have seen us extend our lead but some great saves by the keeper and stout defending from Garthamloch kept the score to 3-0
M.o.T.M. today was Liam feeney who had a solid performance at the heart of defence.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
